A visit to Trebarwith Strand on the North Coast, and a wander down through the small hamlet by the beach - "strand" is an old name for the shore. The view shows Gull Rock out beyond the small bay. The beach is popular with surfers, but retains a quiet charm of its own, and the Port William Inn (out of view) above the beach is a great place to sit and take in the view.

Trebarwith Strand and Gull Rock
Trebarwith Strand beach is good for surfing - and has attendant lifeguards - but the beach does disappear at high tide! Do not get cut off from returning if exploring the beach and rocks away from the beach!

The Port William Inn ~ for an excellent plate of Fish and Chips overlooking the sea.
