Betwixt Moor and Sea!
"Liskeard is full of interest. Its church is the largest in Cornwall after Bodmin.Richard, Earl of Cornwall,, brother of Henry III, who was elected King of the Romans [in 1257, yes, really!], built a castle here... Charles I slept for nine nights in Stuart House. The Old Pipe Well, formerly, St Martin's Well, is remarkable for the prophesies concerning the future of any girl who touches a certain stone in the cistern with her bare feet."

South East Cornwall is Rosamunde Pilcher and Daphne du Maurier country, with Bodmin Moor to the northern flank, and the sea to the south all along the coast from Rame Head to Fowey. The area also has the now well known Eden Project on the one side, the Tamar Valley on the other, and many other places of interest.
