Photographs taken 2005
The pretty old man-made harbour of Pentewan is silted up now, but this used to be a thriving China Clay exporting port, until the very industries that brought it into existance sent silt down the valley from tin streaming, and the coast swept sands along the shore, and it was no more.
The pub is well worth a visit!
